We've been endorsed by Horslips members Jim Lockhart and Barry Devlin who described us as "The Horslips tribute band of the future".

Des McGonigle

Super versatile high-energy multi-instrumentalist, Des never saw Horslips live but fell in love with their music, particularly "The Belfast Gigs".

Nigel Ashcroft

Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar

Singer-songwriter turned powerhouse lead singer and charismatic front man Nigel first saw Horslips in 1974 and later joined the family of Horslips fanatics.

Will Haag

Lead Guitar

Having come to know Horslips music through fellow Horslips fanatics, The Pox Men, Will was the perfect fit for Swords of Light.

Mickey ‘Da’ Feeney

Drums / Percussion

Mickey's long and distinguished drumming career in bands in and around Derry includes opening for Horslips many times with his band "Cricklewood Green".

Marianne Ashcroft

Bass, Vocals

Marianne first saw Horslips in Derry in 1975 and was instantly hooked, becoming a Horslips superfan and friend of the band members. She knows and loves every note of every Horslips song!
